Arjun's debut came after a lengthy wait, and despite a costly performance in a high-scoring match, he garnered attention for his efforts.
In the match itself, Punjab Kings showcased a commanding all-round display, defeating Lucknow Super Giants by seven wickets while easily chasing down a target of 197 runs.
Captain Shreyas Iyer led the charge with a remarkable unbeaten maiden IPL century, scoring 101 runs off 51 balls, while Prabhsimran Singh added a swift 69 runs off 39 balls, propelling PBKS to a solid victory and elevating them to fourth place in the standings with 15 points.
Earlier, LSG set a total of 196/6, thanks to a strong performance from Josh Inglis, who scored 72 runs off 44 balls, and a quick 37 from Abdul Samad, despite regular breakthroughs from Punjab's bowlers, including Yuzvendra Chahal and Marco Jansen. However, their score was not enough as PBKS comfortably surpassed the target with an over to spare.
