London [UK], July 11: Renowned Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar expressed his admiration for the high-caliber tennis showcased at Wimbledon after witnessing the men's singles semifinals from the prestigious Centre Court. He described Jannik Sinner's performance as a "masterclass" and commended Alexander Zverev along with Britain's Arthur Fery for their remarkable displays.


Tendulkar was among a host of sports legends in the Royal Box at Wimbledon, where he observed Zverev triumph over Fery to secure his first Wimbledon final spot, followed by Sinner's impressive victory against Serbian tennis great Novak Djokovic.


Former West Indies captain Brian Lara joined Tendulkar, as the two cricketing legends shared the limelight after years of being fierce competitors and later collaborating in various charity matches.


Current Indian Test captain Shubman Gill also graced the semifinals, adding to the cricketing prestige at Centre Court.
