Eagles Secure Victory in a Nail-Biting Finish

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India] - In an exhilarating match at the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026 held at Daly College, the Royal Nimar Eagles clinched a dramatic 3-wicket win against the Rewa Jaguars.

Set with a target of 131 runs, the Eagles managed to cross the finish line with just three balls remaining, making for an exciting contest. The innings began poorly for Royal Nimar, who found themselves at a precarious 11/3 within the first three overs.

However, a vital partnership of 65 runs for the fourth wicket between Anand Bais and Captain Saransh Jain helped stabilize the innings. Saransh contributed a steady 28 runs off 26 balls before his dismissal, while Bais played a pivotal role, scoring a well-deserved half-century.

Following the captain's exit, the Eagles faced another challenge when Shivansh Chaturvedi was out for 10 runs off 10 balls. The tension escalated as Bais was dismissed for 64 runs off 56 balls, leaving the team needing six runs from the last eight balls with four wickets still in hand. Parush Mandal's dismissal left Royal Nimar requiring just one run from four balls.

In a moment of calm, Abhishek Mavi stepped up to secure the victory on the very next delivery, finishing unbeaten with 15 runs off 8 balls as the Eagles completed their chase.

Earlier in the match, the Rewa Jaguars struggled with their batting, losing wickets consistently. They were in trouble at 22/2 when Arham Aqueel and Ashwin Das formed a partnership that added 41 runs.

Das scored 18 runs off 21 balls before being dismissed, which triggered a mini-collapse, with Aqueel also falling for 33 runs off 29 balls. The Jaguars found themselves in dire straits at 116/8.

Atharva Mahajan fought valiantly in the latter stages, remaining not out at 33 runs off 28 balls, helping the Jaguars to a total of 130/8 in their 20 overs.
