Earlier, team captain Kevin De Bruyne expressed his pride in the squad despite the loss to Spain, marking the conclusion of their World Cup journey.
Spain's victory over Belgium in the quarterfinals set them up for a semifinal match against France. Goals from Fabian Ruiz and substitute Mikel Merino secured Spain's win, while Charles De Ketelaere scored Belgium's only goal.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also shared his disappointment regarding the team's elimination and his own injury. Despite this, he expressed pride in their World Cup journey and thanked fans for their unwavering support.
"I am saddened by our elimination, especially since I couldn't contribute at the end. Injuries are unfortunate, but the loss affects me more.
