Currently, Rohit is just 73 runs shy of becoming the third Indian cricketer to achieve the remarkable milestone of 12,000 runs in One Day Internationals. As of now, he has accumulated 11,927 runs across 289 ODIs and 281 innings, boasting an impressive average of 48.88, which includes 34 centuries and 62 fifties, with a top score of 264.
Guwahati has proven to be a lucky venue for Rohit, where he has scored a total of 235 runs in just two innings, averaging 235.00 with a strike rate of 127.71. His standout performance here was a stunning 152 not out off 117 balls against the West Indies in 2018.
This year, Rohit's performance has seen fluctuations; in 10 ODIs, he has amassed 411 runs at an average of 41.10 and a strike rate of 98.56, including a memorable century of 138 at Lord's and a fifty.
