Celebrating a Decade of Running in Ahmedabad

On July 26, coinciding with Kargil Vijay Diwas, Adani Sportsline announced that registrations are now open for the 10th edition of the Ahmedabad Marathon, scheduled for November 29.

This year’s marathon continues its inspiring theme, #Run4OurSoldiers, honoring the bravery and sacrifices of India’s Armed Forces while fostering a sense of community and fitness among thousands of participants.

Over the last ten years, the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon has evolved into one of the premier road-running events in India, drawing elite athletes, casual runners, fitness lovers, and families from all over the nation.

More than just a race, it has transformed into an annual movement promoting healthier lifestyles and uniting individuals through a common goal.

The last marathon saw over 24,000 participants, solidifying its status as one of India’s top road races. Since 2022, it has been included in the Global Marathon Event List by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), with all race routes certified by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).

The upcoming 10th edition will commence at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park, guiding runners along the picturesque Sabarmati Riverfront and past several iconic landmarks of Ahmedabad.

Through the #Run4OurSoldiers initiative, the marathon provides a platform for participants to pay tribute to the dedication and sacrifices made by the nation’s defenders.

Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer of Adani Sportsline, remarked, “The 10th edition of the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon signifies a significant milestone in our mission to cultivate a robust running culture in Gujarat. What started as a campaign to inspire more individuals to take up running has blossomed into one of the largest community sporting events in the state. Launching registrations on Kargil Vijay Diwas adds special significance to this edition. We encourage everyone to run in honor of our Armed Forces as we celebrate a decade of this marathon.”

Participants can select from four race categories tailored for runners of all ages and skill levels:
