They triumphed over Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 1, held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala, winning by a staggering 92 runs. Captain Rajat Patidar shone brightly, earning the Player of the Match title with an impressive score of 93 runs off just 33 balls, which included 5 fours and 9 sixes. His innings boasted a phenomenal strike rate of 281.82, setting a new record for the highest strike rate in an IPL innings exceeding 90 runs. This record was previously held by the emerging talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who scored 103 runs off 37 balls earlier this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Jaipur. Chris Gayle's iconic 175 at a strike rate of 265 was the previous record for RCB.


RCB's Dominance Over GT
