Ranchi Titans and Koylanchal Super Kings Advance to Semi-Finals

Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], June 18: The Ranchi Titans have made history by becoming the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League 2026, following a decisive six-wicket win against the Jamshedpur Steelers.


They will be joined in the final four by the Koylanchal Super Kings, who have also secured their place based on their current standing in the points table.


Earlier in the day, the Dhanbad Diamonds kept their hopes alive by achieving their first victory of the season with a commanding performance against the Santhal Strikers at the JSCA International Stadium Complex.


In the opening match, the Santhal Strikers batted first and set a challenging target of 183/6 in their 20 overs. This total was bolstered by a remarkable 101-run partnership for the third wicket, featuring Arvind Kumar, who scored a brisk 62 off 41 balls, and Kumar Suraj, who added a solid 41.


Sumit Kumar contributed a quick 25 runs off 16 balls towards the end of the innings. For the Dhanbad Diamonds, Vivekanand Tiwari was the standout bowler, taking 2 wickets for 33 runs in his four overs, while Sushant Mishra (1/23) and Meet Jain (1/27) each claimed a wicket.
