Ravi Bishnoi, 25, was signed by the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 7.2 crore during the mini auction held last December. Hailing from Jodhpur, his return to the franchise is seen as a homecoming, as he began his career as a net bowler for the team.
The Royals are set to head to Guwahati on March 26, 2026, for their opening match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 30, according to the schedule released by the IPL Governing Council.
In a significant trade ahead of the IPL 2026 season, the Rajasthan Royals made headlines by trading Sanju Samson, who had been a key player for over a decade, to CSK, where he will now wear the yellow jersey.
In exchange, the Royals acquired Sam Curran and the experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who previously played for the franchise during their victorious 2008 season under the late Shane Warne's captaincy.
