Sindhu secured her second title of the season by defeating Denmark's Line Kjaersfeldt with a score of 21-12, 21-14 in the women's singles final at the Hylo Open. This victory in Germany marked a triumphant return to form just a week after she was the runner-up at the French Open, where she faced world No. 1 An Se Young.

Previously, she also clinched the Japan Open title in July, making the Hylo Open her second triumph on the BWF World Tour this season.

In addition to her titles, Sindhu reached the finals of the French Open and made it to the semifinals of both the Malaysia Open and the Australian Open.
