New Delhi, August 8: Akash Nangia, the owner of Purani Dilli 6, expressed optimism about his team's potential to build on their recent success after a solid 27-run victory against New Delhi Tigers in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026.
Nangia commended the squad's determination following their earlier loss to Central Delhi Kings, emphasizing that their response showcased the team's character and belief. He acknowledged the necessity of bouncing back swiftly in a lengthy tournament and praised the players for stepping up when it was crucial.
“This win was vital for us, especially after the match against Central Delhi Kings. The way the team responded demonstrates the resilience and character within this squad,” Nangia remarked.
The owner particularly lauded opener Aryan Gaur, whose outstanding innings were pivotal for the victory, and he praised the bowling unit for their disciplined approach in defending the total.
“Aryan Gaur delivered a remarkable innings that set the stage for our success. It was an innings filled with intent and maturity. Simultaneously, I am very pleased with our bowlers.
