New Delhi, February 26: Purani Dilli 6 has revealed plans for open trials in preparation for the upcoming Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026. These trials are scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2026, at St Stephen's Ground, Mori Gate, with participants expected to report by 8:00 AM.

Following a strong performance in their inaugural season, Purani Dilli 6 faced difficulties in Season 2. Eager to recover and enhance their performance, the franchise is now dedicated to scouting new talent and regaining their competitive edge for DPL 2026.

Akash Nangia, the owner of Purani Dilli 6, shared his optimism regarding the upcoming trials, stating, “The first season highlighted the potential and determination of Purani Dilli 6. Although Season 2 did not meet our expectations, it has only reinforced our commitment. These trials present a chance to find new match-winners and assemble a team that embodies the pride and passion of Purani Dilli.”

The trials will be overseen by Vijay Dahiya, a seasoned coach with IPL experience and a former Indian cricketer, whose expertise continues to motivate emerging players.
