Panjab University Dominates at Shotgun Championship

Panjab University emerged victorious at the All India Inter-University Shotgun Championship held at Punjabi University, Patiala, securing the overall trophy.


In the men's Double Trap event, Panjab University led the competition with a total of 128 points, thanks to impressive performances from Keshav Chahuan (46 points), Jagatveer Singh (41 points), and Tavrez Singh (39 points).


Keshav Chahuan also excelled in the individual men's Double Trap, earning a gold medal with a score of 46. Harsh secured the silver with 45 points, while Bhanu followed closely with 44 points, and Jagatveer finished fourth with 41 points.


In the women's Double Trap category, Panjab University claimed gold with a combined score of 81, contributed by Divya Singh (35 points), Krishika Joshi (31 points), and Anmol (15 points). Rabindranath Tagore University took home the silver medal with a total of 60 points, thanks to Shreshtha (28 points), Tanishka Singh (24 points), and Mohika (8 points).
