Odisha T20 League Kicks Off Soon

Cuttack (Odisha) [India], September 16: As the countdown begins for the Odisha T20 League - CM Trophy, anticipation is rising throughout the state with teams gearing up for the tournament's new season.


Scheduled to commence on September 20 and concluding on September 29, the event will take place at the renowned Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Six franchises, including Bhubaneswar Tigers, Puri Titans, Keonjhar Miners, Rourkela Superstars, Sambalpur Warriors, and Kataka Panthers, will vie for the championship title.


Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, President of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), expressed, “The enthusiasm surrounding the Odisha T20 League is increasing daily. We anticipate a thrilling and competitive tournament. This league serves as a vital platform for cricket in Odisha, allowing our players to engage in competitive T20 matches, perform under pressure, and gain essential experience.”


He further added, “Our goal is to enhance the cricketing framework in Odisha and create more opportunities for young talent. We have witnessed numerous gifted cricketers emerge from our state, and events like this can provide them with the exposure and confidence needed to advance their careers.
