This squad will also compete in a preparatory tri-series alongside the Bangladesh and Scotland women's teams ahead of the global event.

The Netherlands secured their spot in the World Cup by advancing through the Qualifier earlier this year, representing a major advancement for the team on the international stage.

Head coach Neil MacRae commented that the selected squad showcases a strong mix of youth and experience, highlighting players who have consistently excelled in recent ICC events. 'The Netherlands have chosen a World Cup squad that combines youthful talent with seasoned players, all of whom have shown remarkable performance in ICC qualifying tournaments and emerging competitions over the past year,' he stated.

Captain de Leede shared her enthusiasm about leading the team into this new chapter. 'We are incredibly excited for our first-ever appearance in the ICC T20 World Cup. This is a fantastic opportunity to compete against the world's best teams and display the talent we possess in the Netherlands,' she remarked, expressing hopes of inspiring future generations of cricketers back home.
