Mumbai Indians' IPL 2026 Journey Begins


The Mumbai Indians (MI) are gearing up to launch their quest for a sixth title in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday, March 29, facing off against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, the team will once again host all seven of their home matches at the renowned Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This season, the five-time champions have been allocated only two day matches, both starting at 3:30 PM IST, while the remaining twelve games will kick off at the usual evening time of 7:30 PM.


MI will also compete against their long-standing rivals, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who have matched their five-title record. In addition to CSK, the Mumbai franchise will face the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Punjab Kings (PBKS) twice. They will play single matches against Delhi Capitals (DC), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Gujarat Titans (GT).
