Monsoon Pickleball Championship 4.0 Wraps Up in Mumbai with Over 1,200 Participants

Exciting Conclusion of the Monsoon Pickleball Championship 4.0

Mumbai, Maharashtra – The Monsoon Pickleball Championship 4.0, hosted by Global Sports, successfully concluded in Mumbai, attracting more than 1,200 athletes competing across 48 different categories. The event took place at the Andheri Sports Complex from July 29 to August 2.

In the pro men’s doubles category, Harsh Mehta and Arjun Singh showcased exceptional skills, defeating Tejas Gulati and Kashyap Baranwal in a thrilling match, as reported in an official release.

Medals were awarded on the final day by Sachin Ahir, the Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, who attended the event to witness the competitive spirit of pickleball.

In a thrilling pro mixed doubles final, Arjun and Naomi triumphed over Pearl Amalsadiwala and Divyanshu Kataria, winning 13-11 in the decisive set. Meanwhile, Pearl and Naomi Amalsadiwala continued their dominance in the pro women’s doubles, defeating Khushi Desai and Snehal Patil in a decisive match.

Diwakar Agarwal clinched the Pro Men’s Singles title in a closely contested final against Rashein Samuel, winning 11-9 and 11-6. Earlier, Diwakar had eliminated local favorite Arjun Singh in the semi-finals. In the Pro Women’s Singles, Khushi Desai emerged victorious over Shreya Chakraborty with scores of 11-9 and 11-0.

The Monsoon Pickleball Championship featured a total of 48 categories, with over 1,200 participants competing over five days.
