Nafay's Impactful Performance

Abu Dhabi [UAE], November 22: Khawaja Nafay is brimming with confidence regarding his batting skills, which have been pivotal in Quetta Qavalry's flawless start in the ongoing 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament, as per a recent announcement.

After another stellar performance where the Qavalry triumphed over Deccan Gladiators by a narrow margin of one run, Nafay expressed his satisfaction with his form in the competition.

“I feel fantastic. My approach was straightforward. I aimed to see the ball and hit it, and thankfully, every ball I decided to attack went for six,” he stated, according to the announcement from Abu Dhabi T10.

The 23-year-old has taken on the crucial role of finishing innings, achieving three unbeaten scores of 45*, 25*, and 39*, boasting an impressive strike rate of 311.42, which includes 10 sixes and six fours. His total of 109 runs across three innings places him as the third-highest scorer this season, significantly contributing to the Qavalry's three-match winning streak.

Discussing his position in the middle order, Nafay mentioned his adaptability to the team's requirements, saying, “I’ve been an opener since I was young, but I’ve also played extensively in the middle order. So, I’m quite comfortable with it. I’m even practicing for middle-order scenarios.”

He also highlighted a fundamental technical aspect that has aided his consistent striking, stating, “If your base and head remain steady, you’ll be able to make solid hits.”
