In a gripping encounter at Wimbledon, tenth seed Karolina Muchova eliminated her friend and reigning champion Barbora Krejcikova, securing a 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 victory to advance to the quarter-finals.

The 29-year-old Muchova showcased her athleticism with a blend of precise volleys, clever drop shots, and powerful cross-court winners, overcoming Krejcikova, who is just eight months her senior and currently ranked 38th in the world, under the warm sun on Court Two.
