New Delhi [India] - In a breathtaking display of skill and determination, Jindal Panther triumphed over Jaipur Achievers with a score of 9-8 in the Northern India Polo Championship, thanks to a last-minute goal by Juan Gris Zavaletta.


The match began with both teams evenly matched, ending the first chukker at 1-1, following an equalizer from Naveen Jindal. Panther then took control in the second chukker, establishing a 4-2 lead through aggressive plays led by Siddhant Sharma and Zavaletta.


However, Jaipur Achievers turned the tide in the third chukker, with Alejo Aramburu leading a fierce comeback to take a 5-4 lead. The fourth chukker saw Zavaletta equalize again at 5-5, but Achievers quickly responded with two goals from Aramburu and Daniel Otamendi, regaining the lead.


By the end of the fifth chukker, Jaipur Achievers had extended their lead to 8-5, with Sawai Padmanabh Singh contributing to the score. It appeared that Panther was on the verge of defeat.


Yet, the final chukker brought an unexpected twist. Jindal Panther emerged with renewed vigor, as Ramiro Zavaletta and Juan Zavaletta scored to level the match at 8-8. In a nail-biting finish, Panther earned a penalty with just 29 seconds left.


Juan Gris Zavaletta stepped up and confidently converted the penalty, clinching a stunning 9-8 victory for his team. Zavaletta was the standout player with five goals, while Ramiro Zavaletta added two and Naveen Jindal scored one. For Jaipur Achievers, Aramburu also netted five goals, supported by Otamendi's two and Singh's single goal.
