Jemimah Rodrigues, the Indian cricketer, has been forced to withdraw from The Hundred tournament after sustaining a hamstring injury while playing for Southern Brave. This setback raises concerns about her availability for the upcoming Women’s T20 Asia Cup.
On Saturday, Southern Brave announced that Australian all-rounder Charlie Knott will take Rodrigues' place for the remainder of the competition. The team expressed their well wishes for Rodrigues' recovery through a post on social media.

In her six innings for Southern Brave, the 25-year-old has accumulated 143 runs, with a top score of 42 not out, averaging 35.75 and maintaining a strike rate of 131.19.
The Women’s T20 Asia Cup is set to commence on August 28, with India kicking off their campaign against Thailand on August 30. Rodrigues has less than three weeks to recover in order to participate in this crucial tournament.
