Jasprit Bumrah made a remarkable return to the Indian ODI team after a hiatus of 969 days, surpassing Ravindra Jadeja's record. His last appearance in this format was during the 2023 Cricket World Cup final against Australia on November 19. Currently, Bumrah has amassed 102 wickets against England across all formats, ranking behind only Ravichandran Ashwin, Jadeja, Anil Kumble, and Kapil Dev. Notably, Bumrah and Kapil are the only Indian fast bowlers to have taken over 100 wickets against multiple teams, with Bumrah achieving this against England and Australia, while Kapil did so against Pakistan, the West Indies, and England.
