Injury Concerns for Prince Yadav Ahead of Final T20I Against Zimbabwe
Prince Yadav's Injury Update
Prince Yadav is likely to be sidelined for the third and final T20I match against Zimbabwe due to a hamstring injury sustained during the second T20I on Saturday (July 25). The right-arm fast bowler had made a significant impact, taking two wickets in just eight deliveries before leaving the field. Since his debut, Prince has consistently performed well, having also claimed two wickets in the opening match of the series.
During the post-match presentation, Indian captain Shreyas Iyer mentioned that adjustments might be necessary for the upcoming game. He stated, "You have to make the most of every chance you get. Tomorrow presents another opportunity, and we are eager for it. We haven't finalized any changes yet, and I haven't discussed it with the coach. Unfortunately, one of our players (Prince) has been injured, so we may need to make a couple of adjustments," he added.
In the previous match, India replaced Ashok Sharma with Yash Thakur, who made his debut. If Prince is unable to play, Ashok could potentially return to the lineup. Additionally, India may opt to utilize their full squad, considering bringing in Prabhimran Singh, Harsh Dubey, and Suryansh Shedge, all of whom have yet to participate in the series.
