India is riding high after clinching the T20 World Cup 2026 title, marking a historic achievement as they became the first team to secure three titles, win consecutive T20 World Cups, and triumph on home soil. India will face Ireland in two T20I matches scheduled for June. This series will be the first T20I assignment for the team following their World Cup victory. The matches are set to take place on June 26 (Friday) and June 28 (Sunday), both starting at 7:30 PM IST, at the Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast. This will mark India's first appearance in Belfast since 2007, having previously toured Ireland in 2007, 2018, 2022, and 2023, with the last three tours occurring in Dublin.

This tour is part of India's broader visit to the United Kingdom, where they are also scheduled to compete against England in five T20Is from July 1 to July 11, followed by three ODI matches from July 14 to July 19.
