India's World Cup Schedule Unveiled

The Indian men's cricket team is set to kick off their ICC World Cup journey against the reigning champions, Australia, at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on October 7, as announced by the international cricket governing body on Thursday.


Following this, Shubman Gill's squad will face their long-time rivals, Pakistan, at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on October 10.


India's next match will be against Afghanistan on October 14 at Centurion, which is now referred to as Tshwane, and they will also compete against co-hosts Zimbabwe at the newly built Victoria Falls Stadium on October 24.


On October 17, India will take on a Qualifier team in Bloemfontein.


The semi-finals are scheduled to take place in Cape Town and Centurion on November 17 and 18, respectively, with the grand final set for November 21 at the Wanderers.
