Overview of the Upcoming Cricket Season
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the schedule for the highly anticipated home season of 2026-2027, which kicks off on September 27. During this period, Team India will compete against West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia, totaling 22 international matches across 17 different cities. The season will begin with a series against West Indies, featuring three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The ODIs are set to take place in Trivandrum, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh, while the T20Is will be hosted in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
