Indian Women's Team Prepares for FIFA Series 2026
The Indian senior women's football team has landed in Nairobi on April 7, 2026, in anticipation of the FIFA Series 2026 Kenya, which is set to take place during the April FIFA International Women's Match Window.
As per the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the Blue Tigresses are scheduled to face the host nation, Kenya, in the semi-final on April 11 at 20:30 IST. Earlier that day, Australia will compete against Malawi in the first semi-final at 16:30 IST.
The winners and losers of these semi-finals will meet in the final and third-place match, respectively, on April 15, with all games being held at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.
Crispin Chettri has been reinstated as the head coach of the Indian women's national team, which features a 22-member squad for this friendly tournament. Sujata Kar, recognized as the AIFF Women’s Coach of the Year in 2025, will serve as the assistant coach, while Fysal K Bapu takes on the role of goalkeeping coach.
