Indian U17 Men's Team Set for Friendly Matches in Thailand Ahead of AFC U17 Asian Cup

Upcoming Friendly Matches for Indian U17 Team

The Indian U17 men's football team is scheduled to engage in friendly matches against Thailand, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea from March 25 to 31, 2026, in Lopburi, Thailand, as reported by the AIFF.

These matches are crucial for the Blue Colts as they prepare for the AFC U17 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia 2026. All games will be held behind closed doors, with India facing Thailand on March 25 at 17:30 IST, Indonesia on March 28 at 17:30 IST, and the Republic of Korea on March 31 at 15:30 IST.

Under the guidance of coach Bibiano Fernandes, the team has already participated in six international friendlies this year, competing against Tajikistan, Turkiye, and Myanmar.

The Blue Colts arrived in Lopburi on March 22 to finalize their preparations.

In the AFC U17 Asian Cup, India will compete in Group D against Australia (May 6), Uzbekistan (May 10), and DPR Korea (May 13).
