Lima, Peru - On January 16, the Alianza Lima club officially announced the signing of Indian midfielder Manisha Kalyan. This move was confirmed by the club on Friday.


According to the club's statement, "The Alianza Lima Women’s team is thrilled to welcome Manisha Kalyan, an Indian midfielder who will enhance our attacking capabilities. She joins us from PAOK FC in Greece, where she showcased her skills in top-tier European football."


Manisha has made a name for herself at both the club and national levels, known for her dynamism and creativity in the attacking zone. Her professional journey includes stints in leagues across India, Cyprus, and Greece.


Throughout her career, she has earned several prestigious awards, including the Emerging Player of the Year for 2020-21 and the Player of the Year for 2022-23. Notably, she became the first Indian footballer to participate in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
