Coach Tim White expressed his enthusiasm for the tour, stating, “This is a fantastic chance for our players to face high-quality international teams and experience diverse styles of hockey. Competing against top junior programs and Scotland's senior team will serve as an excellent learning opportunity.”
He further emphasized the importance of this tour for player development, saying, “Our focus is on enhancing the players' skills and building a solid foundation for consistent performance at the highest levels. Such tours are essential for young athletes to adjust to international standards, boost their confidence, and deepen their understanding of the game in challenging settings.”
White concluded by highlighting the dual objectives of the tour: “While we aim for strong performances, it’s equally important for the team to identify our strengths and areas needing improvement. This experience will also prepare players for future transitions to the senior national team. We are eager to make the most of this tour and every match.”
