Festive Greetings from Indian Cricket Stars
On November 8, Indian cricketers Rishabh Pant, T20I captain Shreyas Iyer, and fast bowler Arshdeep Singh took to social media to convey their Diwali wishes to fans, expressing hopes for joy and prosperity during the festival of lights.
Rishabh Pant shared a heartfelt video message on X, wishing everyone a joyous Diwali and a prosperous year ahead. He stated, "Wishing you a very happy Diwali. Hope you have a great year and enjoy the festival with loved ones and family."
Shreyas Iyer also joined in the celebrations, posting a photo of himself in traditional attire and saying, "Wishing everyone a cracker of a Diwali."
Currently, Iyer is part of India's ODI squad in New Zealand, where he has scored 15 and 30 runs in the first two matches, helping India lead the series 2-0.
In the recent five-match T20I series against New Zealand, Iyer accumulated 126 runs across five innings, achieving a strike rate exceeding 151, including a half-century, contributing to India's 3-2 series win.
Arshdeep Singh, India's top T20I wicket-taker, also celebrated the occasion by sharing a photo with his girlfriend, actor-model Samreen Kaur, on Instagram. He wrote, "A very happy Diwali to you all, from us."
