Indian Cricket Team Postpones Training Session Due to Lunar Eclipse

The Indian cricket team experienced a delay in their training session due to a lunar eclipse, just ahead of their crucial T20 World Cup semifinal against England. Originally set for the evening, the practice was pushed back by over an hour, with the team finally taking the field around 7:20 PM. While some support staff arrived early, the full team began their session only after the floodlights were turned on. This adjustment highlights the team's focus on maintaining their routine despite celestial events.

Training Session Delayed by Lunar Eclipse

On Tuesday, the Indian cricket team postponed their evening training session by more than an hour because of the lunar eclipse, just before their T20 World Cup semifinal match against England.

Originally scheduled for 6-9 PM at Wankhede Stadium, the team did not take to the field until approximately 7:20 PM local time.

While some support staff members and a few coaches were present on the field ahead of the players, the training commenced only after a significant delay.

Interestingly, the stadium's floodlights were activated around 6:50 PM, but they were not at full brightness until shortly before the team began their practice.
