Upcoming T20I Series in Raipur

Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is gearing up to host a thrilling three-match T20I series between the women's cricket teams of India and Zimbabwe on October 16, 18, and 20. Vijay Shah, the Director of the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association, confirmed the news on Friday, revealing that ticket prices will start at Rs 250.


All matches are slated to take place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Naya Raipur, with each game kicking off at 7 PM.


Online ticket sales will commence on October 12 at 4 PM. Fans can purchase up to six tickets per transaction, and entry will be facilitated through digital tickets. Attendees must scan the QR code on their tickets for stadium access.


A 'Series Ticket' for all three matches will be available for Rs 499, while a 'Combo Ticket' for two matches is priced at Rs 350.


Individual ticket prices are set at Rs 3,500 for Platinum, Rs 2,500 for Gold, and Rs 2,000 for Silver. For those seeking a premium experience, a Corporate Box can be reserved for Rs 70,000, with individual seats priced at Rs 3,500.


During a press conference, Shah addressed the preparations made in compliance with the National Green Tribunal's (NGT) guidelines regarding groundwater usage at the stadium. He confirmed that all necessary clearances have been obtained to host the matches, and a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) has been installed at the venue, along with a flow meter to monitor water consumption.


The Indian women's team is expected to arrive in Raipur on October 11, while the Zimbabwean squad will land on October 12. The Indian team will conduct a practice session at 6 PM on October 12, followed by Zimbabwe's practice on October 13.
