India's Squad Announcement for Sri Lanka Test Series
On Tuesday, India revealed its 15-member squad for the upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka, marking the return of veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Additionally, Saransh Jain has received his first call-up to the national team.
Prominent fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and top-order batsman B Sai Sudharsan have also been included in the lineup, although their participation hinges on passing fitness assessments from the BCCI's Centre of Excellence.
Washington Sundar, a spin bowling all-rounder, will miss the first Test due to an injury sustained during the recent white-ball series in England.
The two-match Test series is part of the World Test Championship cycle, with the first match scheduled to take place in Galle from August 15 to 19, followed by the second Test in Colombo (SSC) from August 23 to 27.
