India Secures Victory Against Pakistan

In a thrilling conclusion to their Pool D match at the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, India emerged victorious against their long-time rivals Pakistan, winning 5-3 on Wednesday. Skipper Harmanpreet Singh and teammate Abhishek each netted two goals, showcasing their skills on the field.

Harmanpreet converted two penalty corners, scoring in the fifth and 21^st minutes. Meanwhile, Abhishek found the back of the net with two impressive field goals at the 11^th and 24^th minutes. Additionally, vice-captain Hardik Singh contributed to the scoreline with a penalty stroke goal in the 35^th minute.

Pakistan's efforts included goals from Hannan Shahid, who scored twice (22^nd and 46^th minutes), and Sufyan Khan, who added another in the 24^th minute, but it wasn't enough to close the gap.
