India Secures Victory Against Pakistan

In a thrilling conclusion to their Pool D match at the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, India emerged victorious against their long-time rivals Pakistan, winning 5-3 on Wednesday. Skipper Harmanpreet Singh and teammate Abhishek each netted two goals, showcasing their skills on the field.


Harmanpreet converted two penalty corners, scoring in the fifth and 21st minutes. Meanwhile, Abhishek found the back of the net with two impressive field goals at the 11th and 24th minutes. Additionally, vice-captain Hardik Singh contributed to the scoreline with a penalty stroke goal in the 35th minute.


Pakistan's efforts included goals from Hannan Shahid, who scored twice (22nd and 46th minutes), and Sufyan Khan, who added another in the 24th minute, but it wasn't enough to close the gap.
