The Indian pair achieved a remarkable combined score of nine-under par, narrowly defeating the strong South Korean duo of Jeyi Son and Jiyul Chun, as well as the Thai team of Jessada Chuangprayoon and Takrit Supagonchoowong by just one stroke.

This three-day tournament, organized by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation, attracted 64 junior golfers from 15 different nations, including Singapore, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, India, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Myanmar, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Malaysia, the UAE, the Philippines, and the host country, Sri Lanka.

Harjai delivered an outstanding performance, finishing as the runner-up with a score of seven-under 206 (69-70-67), just three shots behind South Korea's Jeyi Son. Meanwhile, Krish secured a tie for sixth place with a score of two-under 211 (75-67-69). Unfortunately, the Indian girls' team, featuring Guntas Kaur Sandhu and Rashi Mishra, did not fare as well, finishing 18th and 19th respectively.

Reflecting on his performance, Harjai expressed, "I take immense pride in contributing to our boys' team victory at the APGC Junior Championship. Competing at the Royal Colombo Golf Club was a true challenge, and maintaining my composure amidst such talented players from the Asia-Pacific region brings me great joy.
