Former captain Sourav Ganguly praised the outstanding performances of seamers Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj, highlighting the "immense talent" present in Indian cricket.
Akash Deep was instrumental in India's success, achieving a remarkable 10-wicket haul during the match. His figures included 4 wickets for 88 runs in the first innings and 6 wickets for 99 runs in the second, marking a standout performance.

In his second innings, he showcased a more aggressive approach, scoring 161 runs off just 162 balls against England's inexperienced pace attack.
On the bowling front, Akash Deep silenced England's top order in the first innings with figures of 4/88.
