Shafali provided a fiery start for India, scoring 69 runs off just 37 balls, including six fours and five sixes. She formed a solid opening partnership of 54 runs with Anushka Sharma, who contributed 28 runs from 20 balls with four fours and a six. Anushka was dismissed by Nomvelo Sibanda in the sixth over, while Niki Prasad managed only nine runs before falling to Nyasha Gwanzura, leaving India at 68 for 2.
Harmanpreet then joined Shafali, and together they added 84 runs for the third wicket, putting pressure on the Zimbabwe bowlers. Shafali's innings concluded at 152 for 3 in the 15th over when she was caught by Tendai Makusha off Beloved Biza's bowling. Harmanpreet, however, continued to accelerate, finishing with an impressive 91 runs off 41 balls, featuring 10 fours and five sixes at a remarkable strike rate of 221.95.
In the final overs, India lost a few wickets, with Richa Ghosh scoring one run, Deepti Sharma going out without scoring, and Arundhati Reddy adding four runs. Prema Rawat also scored four before being run out, but Harmanpreet's late surge ensured India surpassed the 200-run mark, concluding their innings at 216 for 7. Beloved Biza was the standout bowler for Zimbabwe, taking three wickets for 50 runs in four overs, while Sibanda, Gwanzura, and Tendai Makusha each claimed one wicket.
Zimbabwe's chase began poorly as Kelis Ndhlovu was dismissed for a duck on the first ball by Kranti Gaud. Modester Mupachikwa followed shortly after, caught by Richa Ghosh off Nandani Sharma, leaving Zimbabwe struggling at 12 for 2. Sharne Mayers and Beloved Biza attempted to stabilize the innings, but the required run rate continued to rise as India maintained tight bowling.
Biza was the top scorer for Zimbabwe with 44 runs off 50 balls, hitting five fours, but the team could only reach 124 for 7 in their 20 overs. Nandani Sharma led India's bowling attack with three wickets for just 18 runs, while Deepti Sharma also contributed with a wicket. India's disciplined bowling ensured that Zimbabwe fell well short of the target.
With this victory, India completed a clean sweep of the series, having won the first two T20Is as well. The 92-run margin marked India's largest victory by runs at home in women's T20 internationals, highlighting their dominance throughout the series.
