India Hockey 360 Festival Set to Launch in Chandigarh
Exciting Hockey Festival Coming to Chandigarh
The inaugural India Hockey 360 Festival is scheduled to take place in Chandigarh on August 1-2, bringing together leaders from the global ice hockey and roller hockey communities. This event aims to create fresh opportunities for players, coaches, and families while fostering the sport's long-term development in India.
Co-organized by Tulsea Sports Marketing (TSM), a multicultural sports marketing firm with locations in Mumbai, New York, and Los Angeles, alongside renowned NHL broadcaster Randip Janda, the festival will link India's ice hockey and roller hockey enthusiasts with international organizations and professional coaches. This initiative focuses on grassroots player development and coaching education, as highlighted in a recent press release.
Janda, who hosts Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi and serves as the NHL's first full-time South Asian commentator, emphasized that the festival presents a unique chance to strengthen connections between India's sports community and North America's hockey scene.
The festival has garnered support from esteemed organizations in the ice hockey realm, including the National Hockey League (NHL), the Vancouver Canucks, and Bauer Hockey, along with the Ice Hockey Association of India (IHAI) and various NHL affiliates, all dedicated to promoting ice hockey and roller hockey on a global scale.
Featured coach Harry Mahesh, part of the Abbotsford Canucks' Calder Cup championship-winning coaching staff, will conduct player development sessions and share insights during the Coaches Summit.
Sreesha Vaman, a partner at Tulsea Sports Marketing, stated that the festival embodies the company's dedication to linking sports organizations with the global South Asian community.

The festival will also feature a free, family-friendly Try Ball Hockey activation at Nexus Elante Chandigarh, designed to introduce new audiences to the sport. Participants of all ages can try their hand at ball hockey, take shots on goal, engage in interactive activities, and win prizes.
