Hussain Talat, the all-rounder from Pakistan, suffered a left shoulder injury and was promptly taken to a hospital, as reported by ESPNcricinfo. The incident occurred while he was attempting to prevent a boundary during the second ODI of the ongoing series between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.


The injury happened in the sixth over of the second innings when Talat dashed towards the cover boundary after Litton Das hit a delivery from Mohammad Wasim through the cover point. As he reached for the ball near the boundary, he accidentally stepped on the foam padding, leading to a collision with the advertising boards, which resulted in a heavy fall on his left shoulder, causing him significant pain.


Teammates and medical staff rushed to assist him, and a stretcher was utilized to transport him to a nearby ambulance.
