This decision comes after an impressive career spanning 11 years, during which she represented her country in five ICC tournaments, as reported by the ICC's official website.

Throughout her international journey, Jensen played 88 matches for New Zealand, including 35 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 53 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), achieving a remarkable total of 76 wickets across all formats.

She was a key player during New Zealand's home ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in 2022 and participated in four ICC Women's T20 World Cups in 2014, 2018, 2020, and 2023.

Her standout performance occurred in 2020 when she claimed three wickets in a Player of the Match display against Sri Lanka, finishing the tournament as New Zealand's top wicket-taker with seven wickets.

Jensen's final appearance for the national team was in February 2023, and at 32 years old, she felt it was the right moment to step away from the sport.

I take pride in what we have accomplished together and am honored to have been part of the White Ferns family."

New Zealand's coach, Ben Sawyer, praised Jensen's contributions throughout her career, stating, "I want to congratulate Hayley on her remarkable international career and express gratitude for her impact on the White Ferns. She has been a vital asset to the team, both with bat and ball, and her passion for the game has always shone through. We wish her the best in her future endeavors."
