Latest Women's ODI Rankings Update

In the most recent update of the women's ODI rankings, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has ascended to the seventh position, while her teammate Smriti Mandhana continues to hold the number one spot. This ranking update was published on Tuesday.


Kaur's rise comes after New Zealand's Sophie Devine fell two places, landing her in ninth position.


Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues has maintained her position at 12th.


A standout performance from New Zealand's Maddy Green, who scored 94 runs in the final match of the ICC Women’s Championship series against Zimbabwe, has significantly boosted her ranking.


Green's impressive 73-ball innings in Dunedin was pivotal in her team's commanding 200-run victory, which secured a 3-0 series win, allowing her to climb five spots to 17th with a career-high rating of 610 points.


All-rounder Amelia Kerr, who was named Player of the Match for her all-round performance of 80 runs and five wickets for 22 runs, also earned the Player of the Series title. She advanced from 21st to a tie for 19th among batters, achieving over 600 rating points in both batting and bowling categories.


Isabelle Gaze has also made strides, moving up three places to 61st, while seam bowlers Rosemary Mair and Bree Illing have improved their rankings, moving to 58th and 79th, respectively.


In the T20I rankings, Amelia Kerr reached a career-best rating of 694 points after scoring 78 runs off 44 balls in the first match against South Africa, maintaining her eighth position in the bowling rankings.


Georgia Plimmer's score of 63 has propelled her from 50th to 41st, contributing to New Zealand's 90-run victory.


In T20I bowling, Jess Kerr's performance of two wickets for 13 runs has seen her rise 11 places to 23rd, while Sophie Devine's best-ever figures of four wickets for 12 runs have moved her up from 104th to 79th.
