Harbhajan Singh Responds to Sreesanth's Boxing Challenge
Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth's Ongoing Feud
Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh appears to have reacted to an open challenge issued by his former teammate S Sreesanth. The two have had a tumultuous relationship since the infamous slapgate incident during the IPL in 2008. Although Harbhajan publicly apologized and they even appeared together on the talk show 'Who's The Boss', their relationship soured again when a video of the slapgate resurfaced online. Harbhajan's recent advertisement, which included a joke about the incident, reportedly angered Sreesanth, leading him to block Harbhajan on social media.
In a recent podcast, Sreesanth did not hold back and challenged Harbhajan to a boxing match after seeing a photo of them in boxing gear. He boldly asked, “Do you have the guts to step into the ring with me? Can you sign up and come? This is not acting; I’m smiling, but you seem serious. Let’s see if you accept this open challenge.”
Harbhajan's Cryptic Response
Following the viral clip of Sreesanth, Harbhajan posted a mysterious video on Instagram. In it, he stated, “Someone once said something very true: let people keep talking nonsense if they want. Empty vessels make the most noise.” This phrase suggests that those lacking substance often make the loudest claims. While Harbhajan did not explicitly mention Sreesanth, many fans interpreted his words as a direct response to the challenge.
