Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 23: The Gujarat Diamonds have officially confirmed their participation in the upcoming Big Cricket League (BCL) Season 2, scheduled from March 11 to March 22, 2026, at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex Stadium in Greater Noida.


This innovative Pro-Am cricket league uniquely combines seasoned international players with emerging amateur talent in an exciting T20 format, as stated in a recent announcement.


In preparation for their inaugural season, the Gujarat Diamonds have strategically enhanced their team by acquiring a blend of international stars, IPL veterans, and first-class players during the BCL auction.


The roster features a variety of skilled players, including Upul Tharanga, Jesal Karla, Christopher Mpofu, Asela Gunaratne, Sarul Kanwar, and Isuru Udana. These signings reflect the franchise's dedication to building a competitive and high-quality team.


At the helm of the team is Dhammika Prasad, a former fast bowler for Sri Lanka.
