In a statement, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) expressed, “We are pleased to inform that entry for the public to the Test Series featuring Sri Lanka and India will be free, offering fans a fantastic chance to witness top-tier Test cricket.”

The initial match is set to take place at the Galle International Stadium, while the second Test will occur at the SSC in Colombo from August 23-27.

SLC further encouraged cricket lovers, budding cricketers, families, and sports fans nationwide to seize this opportunity and immerse themselves in the thrill of international Test cricket between Sri Lanka and India.

Historically, Test cricket in Sri Lanka has struggled to draw crowds, with even past Indian teams playing in front of sparse audiences.
