Exciting Second Half of IGPL 2026 Season Set to Begin Soon

Upcoming Events in IGPL 2026 Season 2

The second half of the IGPL 2026 Season 2 is gearing up to commence in six weeks, following a successful first half that featured six events, predominantly held in Africa, with one taking place in India.

After kicking off in the UAE at the Al Hamra Golf Course in Ras Khaimah, the next nine events will predominantly occur in India. The AM Green IGPL Invitational 2026, presented by Vimtra Chennai Lions GC, is scheduled for September 23-25, 2026, with a significant prize purse.

This tournament will showcase some of India's top golfing talents as it travels across various cities, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Vizag, and Ahmedabad.

The venues for two upcoming events, the AM Green IGPL Invitational 2026 presented by Atri Mumbai Garudas GC (November 24-26, 2026) and the AM Green IGPL Invitational 2026 presented by GolfKonnekt Bengaluru Stallions (December 1-3, 2026), are still to be confirmed.

Uttam Singh Mundy, CEO of the AM Green IGPL, emphasized the importance of venue selection, stating that choices were made in consultation with franchises and players to foster a strong fan base and promote the sport. Many players have previously competed at these courses, and their feedback was invaluable.

The Vimtra Chennai Lions GC will host their event at the renowned Al Hamra GC in Ras al Khaimah, UAE, from September 23-25, a venue known for hosting European Tour Challenge Tour events.

In addition, the RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC has selected the Qutab Golf Course in Delhi for their event from September 29 to October 1.

The Krishna Punjab Raptors GC will hold their tournament at the Hyderabad Golf Course, while the Unico Gurugram Tuskers GC has chosen Kalhaar Blues and Green GC in Ahmedabad.

The Green Fuels Vizag Dolphins GC will take place at East Point GC in Vizag during the first week of November, followed by the Phoenix Hyderabad Firebirds GC at Vooty Golf County in Hyderabad. The Auro Goa Eagles GC will host their event at The Poona Golf Club in Pune from November 17-19.

The addition of players like Arjun Prasad and Ravi Kumar will enhance an already impressive lineup, which includes Gaganjeet Bhullar, Karandeep Kochhar, Pukhraj Singh Gill, Aman Raj, and legends such as Jeev Milkha Singh, Shiv Kapur, SSP Chawrasia, and Gaurav Ghei.

Mundy noted the strengthening partnership between the Asian Tour and IGPL, highlighting the successful first half that included events in Morocco and several locations in Africa. The aim is to provide players with exposure to top international courses, benefiting both male and female competitors.

The IGPL stands out as a unique tour in the golfing world, allowing men, women, and amateurs to compete alongside professional players for the same prize money. The introduction of ten franchises has added an exciting team championship element to the tour.
