Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], April 6: The sixth day of the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026 saw thrilling performances as Dadra & Nagar Haveli And Daman & Diu Hockey, Hockey Chandigarh, and Hockey Karnataka emerged victorious in Division 'B'. Meanwhile, Hockey Mizoram, Hockey Haryana, Hockey Association of Odisha, and Hockey Jharkhand claimed wins in Division 'A'.
In the opening match, Dadra & Nagar Haveli And Daman & Diu Hockey triumphed over Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu with a narrow 1-0 scoreline, thanks to Anushka Gupta's goal in the third quarter (41').
Following that, Hockey Chandigarh showcased their strength by defeating Hockey Himachal 4-1. Annu was the star of the match, netting a hat-trick (7', 14', 52'), while Rani Radha added another goal at the 42' mark. Khushvinder Gill managed to score the only goal for Hockey Himachal at 44'.
Hockey Karnataka dominated their match against Hockey Gujarat, winning decisively with a score of 6-1. Goals came from K P Sinchana (20', 52'), M M Thaniya (2'), S M Kusumanjali (19'), Pretti Neelaraddi (22'), and Huggennavar Basamma Shivappa (26'), while Parvatiben Gamar scored for Hockey Gujarat at 31'.
In Division 'A', Hockey Mizoram secured a 2-1 victory over Chhattisgarh Hockey, with K Vanlalpeki scoring both goals (14', 41') and Manpreet Kaur netting the lone goal for Chhattisgarh at 27'.
Hockey Haryana also had a successful outing, defeating Manipur Hockey 4-2. Goals were scored by Radhika (12'), Diya (18'), Vishakha (42'), and Antika (44'), while Tongbram Reenu Devi (5') and Captain Devi Moirangthem Prinja (6') found the net for Manipur.
In another Division 'A' match, Hockey Association of Odisha claimed a convincing 4-0 win against Hockey Andhra Pradesh, with goals from Sweety Kujur (7'), Princess Priya Ekka (32'), Deepika Bage (49'), and Archana Kujur (59').
Finally, Hockey Jharkhand delivered an impressive performance, defeating Hockey Maharashtra 6-0. The goals were scored by Sushmita Guria (14'), Sandeepa Kumari (22'), Shruti Kumari (27'), Pushpa Manjhi (36'), Saniya Tirkey (40'), and Pretty Bilung (52').
