Endrick's Trust in Coach Ancelotti

In New Jersey, Brazilian forward Endrick, who has seen limited action in the FIFA World Cup 2026, voiced his confidence in coach Carlo Ancelotti's ability to make the best decisions for the team. He believes that every player will have their moment to shine as the tournament progresses, according to reports from ESPN.

So far, Endrick has not started any matches, having only come off the bench against Haiti, Scotland, and Japan, and he was absent from Brazil's first group-stage match against Morocco.

Despite this, the Real Madrid player expressed his unwavering trust in Ancelotti, emphasizing that the coach prioritizes the team's needs over individual players. He commended Ancelotti's decision-making skills, stating that his choices often yield positive results. Endrick is prepared to follow any directives from the coach without question.

He remarked, "He won’t act in favor of me or Endrick, or even Matheus Cunha. His focus is solely on what benefits the team. He’s fearless in his approach, and his instincts seem to be guided by a higher power, as everything he does tends to succeed. When the coach gives me instructions, I won’t hesitate; I’ll comply without looking back," as quoted by ESPN.

Endrick expressed gratitude for being part of the World Cup squad, viewing his inclusion as a significant achievement. He noted that all players are eager to contribute, trusting the coach's judgment, and believes that opportunities will arise in due time, stating he aims to showcase his identity as a player.

"I’m incredibly thankful to be here. For me, simply being part of this group and competing in a World Cup is a triumph. All 26 players are ready and well-prepared to play. I’ll place my faith in God and the coach, who will act in the team’s best interest. I’m confident that everything will unfold at the right moment. I didn’t come here for extraordinary experiences; I came to reveal who Endrick is," he added.

Brazil is set to take on Norway in the Round of 16 on July 5.
