Deepti emerged as the highest-priced player in the auction. In a conversation with a News Media outlet, she shared her happiness regarding the team's decision but emphasized that she does not dwell on the financial aspect. Representing UP Warriorz holds special significance for her, particularly as she hails from Agra.
“I feel great and am genuinely happy. Honestly, I don’t concentrate on the price tag. My focus is on delivering my best performance and contributing to the franchise. It’s a privilege to play for the UP Warriors, especially being from Agra. I aspire to perform well and help the team secure as many victories as possible,” Deepti stated.
