Ronaldo's Triumph in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh [Saudi Arabia], May 22: Cristiano Ronaldo, the iconic Portuguese footballer, has achieved a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia by leading Al Nassr to their 11th Saudi Pro League (SPL) title. He accomplished this feat by scoring two goals in a decisive 4-1 win against Damac on Friday night, marking his first league title since joining the club in January 2023.

The championship was secured on the last day of the season, with Al Nassr finishing ahead of their fierce rivals, Al Hilal. This victory also represents the club's first league title since Ronaldo's arrival in the region.

Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool player, also contributed to the scoreline in this crucial match, while JoãO Felix, who has played for Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, joined Ronaldo in the squad managed by Jorge Jesus.

Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or recipient, has now netted over 100 goals for Al Nassr in just three seasons in Saudi Arabia, maintaining his impressive scoring record after departing Manchester United during his second tenure.

With this latest achievement, Ronaldo adds another prestigious trophy to his extensive collection, having now won domestic league titles in Portugal, England, Spain, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.

Celebrating the Championship

The Saudi Pro League title marks Ronaldo's second trophy with Al Nassr, following their victory in the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023, where they triumphed over Al Hilal with a score of 2-1. Ronaldo also scored twice in that final, contributing to the club's regional success, although this title is not recognized by FIFA.

This latest achievement further enhances Ronaldo's legendary status in football, as he continues to build his legacy. Having already succeeded in England, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Europe, he has now added a significant chapter in the Middle East to his illustrious career.

Ronaldo's trophy cabinet is filled with accolades, including five UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups, four FIFA Club World Cups, three Premier League titles, two La Liga titles, two Serie A championships, the UEFA European Championship with Portugal, and two UEFA Nations League titles.

In addition to domestic cups and super cups across various nations, he has also won the Arab Club Champions Cup in Saudi Arabia. Individually, Ronaldo has received four European Golden Shoes and remains the all-time leading goal scorer in football history with 973 career goals, solidifying his place among the sport's greatest players.

At 41 years old, Ronaldo is also preparing to represent Portugal in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be his sixth appearance at the prestigious tournament.
